The lesson starts at 9.30 tomorrow instead of 10.30.

Lunch is at 12.30. Don't be late.

Present Continuous

• Present continuous is used to talk about something that is happening at the time of speaking. The action is not finished.

He is speaking to John.

• Present continuous is used to talk about future arrangements.

I' m meeting my father at the airport at 5 o'clock tomorrow.

• Present continuous is used with words such as ALWAYS to talk about things that happen repeatedly (sometimes to say that something is irritating or annoying).

She 's always complaining about how difficult her life is.

Lunch time: When eating, your food doesn't float away, so don't strap the tray to your legs! Just sit down at a table and put your food on its surface. There's also a nice cutlery for your convenience: you can eat soup with a spoon and cut the meat with a knife and a fork! And if you want to season your meal, take some salt and pepper, which are in special shakers. Just take the shaker and shake it over your plate, but don't be too shocked, it's not liquid and it's OK.

Leisure time: Here on Earth you have a large number of entertaining activities. You can go out (!) and watch a new film in the cinema, have dinner in a fancy restaurant, attend various cultural events and festivals or simply enjoy long romantic walks down the city streets.

Bed time: If you wish to take a shower before going to sleep, just turn on the tap — there are no vacuum hoses there but there's nice hot relaxing water. When finally going to bed after a busy day, take a soft blanket and cozy cushions with you and just lay down (there's no need to strap yourself to the bed, of course, if you are not an incurable sleepwalker).

Время обеда: Во время приема пищи твоя еда от тебя не уплывет, так что не нужно пристегивать поднос к ногам! Просто сядь за стол и поставь еду на его поверхность. Для твоего удобства перед тобой, скорее всего, лежат столовые приборы: ложкой ты можешь есть суп, а вилкой и ножом резать мясо! А если ты хочешь приправить блюдо, воспользуйся солью и перцем в специальных небольших сосудах. Просто возьми солонку или перечницу и потряси над тарелкой, но не слишком пугайся: эти специи не жидкие, но это нормально.

Время развлечений: Здесь на Земле великое множество развлечений. Можно выйти (!) из дома и направиться в кинотеатр, чтобы посмотреть новый фильм, или поужинать в роскошном ресторане, или посетить различные культурные мероприятия и фестивали. А можно просто насладиться долгой романтичной прогулкой по городским улицам.

Время отдыха: Если тебе захочется принять душ перед сном, просто поверни кран — в душе нет вакуумных шлангов, но есть приятная горячая расслабляющая водичка. Когда соберешься наконец лечь спать после насыщенного дня, захвати с собой мягкое одеяло и уютные подушки и просто ляг на кровать. Нет необходимости пристегиваться к кровати ремнями, если конечно ты не неизлечимый лунатик.
